Dr. Brooke Storer-Church is the Skills and Employability Manager at the Office for Students, with responsibility for developing and managing strategic activities within the Skills and Industrial Strategy portfolio.  Current work includes developing impact measures for student involvement in knowledge exchange activities, overseeing the first OfS Challenge Competition to improve outcomes for local graduates, and gathering effective practice examples to support graduate employability.  Previous responsibilities included the Degree Apprenticeship Development Fund, STEM accreditation reviews, and managing  postgraduate policy and initiatives for HEFCE.

  • Exploring how the Access and Participation Plans seek to make progress on tackling disparities in degree attainment and employment outcomes by improving equality for opportunity through providers having to implement change
  • Outlining details and funding for the first ‘Challenge Competition’ designed to support students in the transition to highly skilled employment and improve outcomes for graduates looking to work in their home region
