Jane Campbell is Head of Student Careers at the University of Leeds, a post she has held for the last 6 years. She is a careers guidance professional with over 25 years’ experience in various sectors including higher education, further education, adult education and schools. Before moving to her current post Jane worked for the Open University managing Student Services in the Leeds office. Since starting in Leeds Jane has led on developing Faculty Employability Teams, a new set of metrics for employability, set up a mentoring hub and supporting the building of stronger partnerships between local employers and Universities in the City. Widening Participation is important to Jane and she has helped Student Careers develop a team of staff and interns working in this space to improve outcomes for students at a disadvantage in relation to graduate employability.

  • Delivering individualised careers support for students to deliver meaningful progression on skills and employability in preparation for a challenging graduate employment market
