Tristram Hooley is Chief Research Officer at the Institute of Student Employers. He also holds professorial roles at the University of Derby, Canterbury Christ Church University and the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences. He a director of the National Institute of Career Education and Counselling, a Winston Churchill Fellow and on the board of the British Journal of Guidance and Counselling and the International Centre for Career Development and Public Policy. He has published seven books and numerous articles, chapters and reports. His new book ‘Career and Career Guidance in the Nordic Countries’ will be coming out in the first half of 2020. His research focuses on careers and transitions and what kind of interventions can help individuals to have more successful lives.
